Trump’s meme coin is selling a third dinner with him. The wallet holding the creators’ coins moved $70 million toward the exit.

— Trump's meme coin offers its top 185 buyers a 3rd dinner with him as the creators' wallet readies $70M of coins for sale.

The top 185 buyers in a two-month contest get a November 22 “gala dinner” with Trump at his Virginia golf club. Since September 1, the largest $TRUMP account has moved about $70 million of coins to an account that would let them be sold, the Washington Sun found.

What happened

On September 30, 2026, the official $TRUMP meme coin account announced a November 22 “gala dinner” with Trump for its top 185 registered holders. It will be held at Trump National, his golf club in Virginia, and is the coin’s third such event, after dinners in May 2025 and April 2026. Seats go to the people who buy the most $TRUMP over the following two months.

The Washington Sun found that the largest $TRUMP account, which holds the pool of tokens set aside for the coin’s creators, had moved $27 million of coins on September 1, $26 million on September 6 and $18 million on September 20 to an account that would allow them to be sold. The announcement briefly lifted the coin’s price.

A White House official said the event invitation states that no attendee will get a private meet-and-greet with the president.

Who benefited

Trump, who made more than $600 million from the meme coin in 2025, according to his financial disclosure. The coin’s price rises when people buy it to qualify for the dinner, and the creators’ tokens were moved into position to sell into that demand.

Who wanted something

The buyers competing for 185 seats, who must buy and hold more $TRUMP than everyone else to sit at dinner with the president. The White House official said the dinner “is a private event — not a government function.”

Who lost out

Retail buyers: Public Citizen’s research director calculated that investors lost $4.7 billion on Trump’s crypto ventures overall. “Regular buyers are urged to hold for a shot at dinner with the president, while tokens reserved for the coin’s creators head for the exits,” he said.

Why it matters

A seat at dinner with the president is again for sale, priced in a coin his family profits from. This is the third time.
