— Trump discloses $1.4B in crypto-related income for 2025.

Trump’s 2025 financial disclosure, released June 30, 2026, reported more than $1.4 billion in crypto-related income: memecoin sales, World Liberty Financial token proceeds and related ventures. What happened

The Office of Government Ethics released Trump’s 927-page disclosure for 2025 on June 30, 2026, after a 30-day extension. In earlier years his reported income came mainly from real estate, golf and licensing. The form reported more than $1 billion in crypto-related income for his first year back in office.

The largest entries were roughly $636 million through CIC Digital LLC from the $TRUMP memecoin and $526.8 million in World Liberty Financial token-sale proceeds. The memecoin money was mostly royalties under a license with Celebration Coins, an entity with no public footprint. The token sales were spread across ten crypto-wallet lines. Two Holdco sales added $65.6 million and $196.9 million.

Added up, the lines come to about $1.42 billion. The $65.6 million is from selling equity in WLF Holdco and the $196.9 million from selling units of Stablecoin Holdco. Outlets that reported $1.2 billion left those two out; NBC News and the AP, at $1.4 billion, included them. Total reported revenue was about $2.2 billion, up from $622 million in 2024.

Who benefited

Trump, whose trust owns the entities, and his sons Eric and Donald Jr., who run the family’s crypto ventures, took the income. The partners in those ventures, including the Witkoffs, benefited as well. None of the entries is double-counted here.

Who wanted something

The buyers of the family’s tokens, most of whom are not named, wanted something. Other entries in this record identify some: an Abu Dhabi vehicle backed by Sheikh Tahnoon, Justin Sun, and the anonymous bidders at the memecoin dinner. The crypto industry as a whole wanted favorable regulation and pardons, and received both in the same period.

Who lost out

The agencies that police crypto answer to a president whose single largest source of income in 2025 was crypto. The only public accounting of that income is his own annual form, filed late and read differently by every outlet.

Why it matters

Crypto was by far the largest category of Trump’s 2025 income, well ahead of Mar-a-Lago and the golf resorts. All of it was earned in a year when his own administration set crypto policy and pardoned crypto figures. The White House said no conflict of interest existed. The figure, more than $1 billion by any count, comes from his own filing.
