ICE hands Palantir a second no-bid ImmigrationOS order worth $29.9 million
The September 25, 2025 task order followed an April 2025 award of about $30 million to build the system. A limited-source justification says Palantir was the only source.
What happened
ICE awarded Palantir Technologies a $29,898,236 task order on September 25, 2025 to keep ImmigrationOS running. The order covers continued licenses, operations and maintenance, and adaptive support of the Immigration Lifecycle Operating System, deployed for Enforcement and Removal Operations.
A limited-source justification posted on SAM.gov on October 10, 2025 says Palantir was the only source capable of providing the services. The order is number 70CTD022FR000170-P000012 under GSA schedule GS-35F-0086U. ICE said the system supports Executive Orders 14159 and 13773.
It followed an April 2025 award of about $30 million to build ImmigrationOS. An advocacy site tallies ICE’s payments to Palantir since 2014 at about $277 million, but that figure does not include this order and is not an official total.
Who benefited

Who lost out
Your taxpayer money paid $29.9 million with no competing bid for the work. Other vendors had no chance to offer the same services, because ICE’s justification says Palantir was the only source capable of providing them.
Why it matters
ICE’s own justification says only Palantir can run the system Palantir built, and the two awards together come to nearly $60 million. The September order was posted on SAM.gov on October 10, 2025, fifteen days after it was awarded.
