What happened

On August 10, 2026, ICE posted notice of its intent to award LexisNexis Risk Solutions a sole-source interim contract estimated at $6.7 million, over a 7-month base and five 1-month options. It covers continued access to the LexID identity-resolution engine and the Accurint Virtual Crime Center.

The performance work statement requires the database to connect by API to ICE applications “such as but not limited to the Palantir platform, PenLink and ICE Data Analytics.” It would serve up to 11,200 users across HSI, Enforcement and Removal Operations and the Office of Professional Responsibility, and support AI-driven identification and facial recognition.
